AmaniOur Story

Our originsBorn from the land, built for the soul

Amani Collections began with a singular vision: to create sanctuaries that honour the grandeur of the Tanzanian wilderness and the quiet needs of the traveller seeking something deeper than a destination.

Each property in our collection has been conceived not as an interruption to the landscape, but as an extension of it, where architecture yields to nature, where hospitality feels like homecoming, and where every sunrise brings a story you will carry forever.

Rooted in Tanzania’s Wild BeautyA Legacy Shaped by the Land

Today, Amani spans from the coffee highlands of Arusha to the rim of the Ngorongoro Crater and into the heart of the Serengeti. With two new lodges and camps on the horizon for 2026, our commitment to the land remains unchanged.

Amani in Swahili Means Peace ✌️

Amani is a brand name carefully chosen to reflect a dream the founders, Edward & Lilian Mrosso, pursued after early retirement, with the support of his brothers Charles & Samwel Mrosso. To date, Amani remains a peaceful place to not only it’s founders but everyone who has the pleasure of experiencing an Amani property.
